Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Pasta Skillet

This one-pan creamy chicken and broccoli pasta skillet is a perfect weeknight dinner solution. It's packed with flavor, easy to clean up, and ready in under 30 minutes.

✎
HOW TO MAKE IT

Let's cook.

01

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

02

Add the 1 pound of chicken pieces to the skillet, season with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.

03

Add the 3 minced garlic cloves to the same skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

04

Pour in 3 cups of chicken broth and bring to a boil. Add 12 ounces of uncooked penne pasta, stir well, and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is al dente.

05

Stir in 2 cups of broccoli florets and the cooked chicken. Cover and cook for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender-crisp.

06

Remove the skillet from heat. Stir in 1/2 cup of heavy cream and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until well combined and creamy.

07

Serve immediately and enjoy your creamy chicken and broccoli pasta skillet.
