Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the apple mixture in the baking dish.
Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown and bubbly. You can test the apple tenderness by gently piercing with a fork.
Remove from the oven and let the apple crumble cool for at least 10-15 minutes before serving. This allows the filling to set slightly.
