HOW TO MAKE IT

Let's cook.

01

In a medium non-stick saucepan, combine the sweetened condensed milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, and unsalted butter.

02

Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly with a silicone spatula, for 8-10 minutes, or until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the bottom and sides of the pan when tilted.

03

Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

04

Pour the mixture onto a buttered plate or shallow dish and let it cool completely at room temperature for at least 30 minutes, or chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

05

Once cooled, lightly butter your hands and roll the mixture into small, bite-sized balls, about 1 inch in diameter.

06

Place the chocolate sprinkles in a shallow bowl. Roll each brigadeiro ball in the sprinkles until fully coated.

07

Arrange the brigadeiro bites in mini paper cups or on a serving platter. Serve immediately or store for later.
