Let's cook.
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan.
In a large bowl, whisk together the fine semolina, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, plain yogurt, vegetable oil, eggs, and 1 teaspoon of orange blossom water until well combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with a spatula until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean and the top is golden brown.
While the cake bakes, prepare the syrup: In a small saucepan, combine the honey, 0.25 cup water, and lemon juice. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat to low and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat.
Once the cake is out of the oven, immediately pour the warm honey syrup evenly over the hot cake. The cake will absorb the syrup.
Let the cake cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares. Garnish with slivered almonds before serving.
