Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a small baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
Wash the pears, then carefully cut each pear in half lengthwise. Using a spoon or melon baller, scoop out the core and any seeds, creating a small cavity in the center of each pear half.
In a small bowl, combine the chopped walnuts, chopped pistachios, ground cinnamon, and orange zest. Mix well.
Arrange the pear halves cut-side up in the prepared baking dish. Brush the cut surfaces of the pears with the melted butter.
Spoon the nut mixture evenly into the cavities of each pear half, gently pressing it down.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the pears are tender when pierced with a fork but still hold their shape. The nut topping should be lightly toasted.
Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle the remaining honey over the warm baked pears. Serve warm.
